Veterinarian wanted to work full time in a small country practice in the south eastern coastal region QLD.  Mixed practice somewhere between Gympie and Maryborough. Starting salary of 80 000- 120 000 depending on experience. New graduates and overseas visa holders can apply. Currently one veterinarian in full time employ we provide veterinary care to a growing demographic of enthusiastic animal owners, be prepared for anything and all kinds of cases. Housecalls, large animal call outs. Afterhours and emergency work up to individual choice. Someone with self motivation and a genuine love for helping sick animals are desirable traits. Can only offer fresh air and sunshine in liu of bonuses. Usual terms - 4 weeks holiday leave, one paid conference/ workshop/ year, 10 days per annum pd sick leave.

Requirements

Experience would be wonderful, but we're not too fussy as long as we can all get along. A sound knowledge base without being a smart alec also a good start. Honesty important, no one cares if you havent done / seen something before. Tact, if you see something no one else does, say so tactfully. A good sense of humour, generation X humour a must, no matter how whatever- ist you may think it is. A willingness to learn and to teach others, we are all students of life!
