What Will Your Day Look Like?

• Perform basic ophthalmology tests (intraocular pressure checks, tear-production tests, electroretinograms, etc.)
• Assist ophthalmologists during consultations and procedures
• Provide advanced anaesthesia monitoring, including premedication, artificial ventilation, and patient recovery
• Perform general nursing duties (blood collection, catheter placement, patient care)
• Manage administrative duties related to patient care
• Support client communication, including patient admissions & discharges
• Collaborate with other specialist teams in the hospital

Who Are We Looking For?

✔️ Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with at least 2 years of full-time experience as a qualified nurse
✔️ A keen interest in Ophthalmology – experience is a bonus but not required!
✔️ Ability to work independently & as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong time management & prioritisation skills
✔️ General anaesthesia experience
