We are currently inviting expressions of interest from experienced Veterinary Nurses for Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities within our Emergency & critical Care (ECC) and Hospital (Inpatient) Care Departments, based at SASH Western Sydney, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About our Team:
Our ECC and Hospital Care teams work collaboratively to deliver gold-standard, 24/7 patient care – from triage to discharge. This is a dynamic, hands-on nursing role offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across a multi-disciplinary specialist hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and managing patients with a wide variety of complex and critical conditions
• Supporting triage, stabilisation, diagnostics, and post-operative recovery of a diverse caseload
• Working alongside specialists, vets, interns and specialty nurses in a team-focused environment
• Driving excellence in veterinary nursing care, fostering positive client experiences and contributing to best possible patient outcomes

About You:
We’re looking for experienced and compassionate Veterinary Nurses who thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and are keen to expand their skills in specialist care.

• A strong interest in referral and emergency medicine, and a desire to support patients throughout their SASH journey
• The ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
• Confidence working in a busy, multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for learning & a drive for personal and clinical development

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified vet nurse
• Availability to work across a rotating 24/7 roster (including weekends and public holidays)
