Part-Time / Weekend Role — Friday, Saturday & Sunday until 10pm (Thursday Evening Shift Optional)
$180,000–$200,000 + super (pro-rata, based on experience)

Are you a veterinarian looking to step away from high-volume GP consulting and move into a role where you can focus on meaningful emergency and inpatient care?
This is a great opportunity to work in ECC without the intensity of a major city emergency centre, while still managing a varied and interesting caseload.
We’re seeking an experienced vet to join our weekend ECC service, delivering high-quality emergency care and supporting our inpatient caseload. This position may suit an ECC vet or an experienced GP vet wanting to broaden their clinical scope, reduce weekday workload, and enjoy flexible, well-paid weekend work.
About the Role
- Weekend roster — Friday, Saturday & Sunday until 10pm (Thursday Evening Shift Optional)
- Option for 3-weekend-per-month rotation
- Accommodation available for travel-in weekend vets (no relocation required)
- Manage emergency presentations, triage, stabilisation & inpatient transitions
- Emergency case consulting only — no routine GP consulting
- Work collaboratively with ECC nurses/techs + dedicated management & reception team

Requirements
Who You Are
- 3+ years clinical experience
- Confident in triage decision-making and managing emergency cases
- Enjoys a fast-paced but well-supported clinical environment
- Strong communicator and team collaborator
