🐱Experienced Mixed Animal Veterinarian Wanted 🐶

Are you a mixed vet looking for a varied case load with 24/7 support from 2 experienced vets with over 13 years in the industry each?

Do you like having the ability to work up complicated cases and tackling varied surgical cases?

If you have answered yes maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️ to any of these then we are seeking an experienced mixed animal vet to join our team at Midwest Veterinary Centre in Geraldton, and we would love to hear from you!!!! This is a 12 month contract with the ability to expand if both parties wish.

What we need -

* minimum 2 years experience in mixed animal work including horses

* registered with the western Australian vet surgeons board or the ability to be registered

* ability to work independently essential due to after hours work and Saturday sole charge shifts

* happy, outgoing person with great communication skills

* willingness to do both surgical and medical cases, keenness for orthopaedics work an advantage

* experience with EzyVet an advantage but not essential

* able to do on call shifts and weekend work - equally shared between 4 vets, and Saturday shift shared between 5 vets.

What will we give you!

• 4 days a week with rotating rdo each week, 8am till 5:30pm
• 3 day long weekend after on call weekend
• 5 vet team with multiple over 10 years experience
• 1:4 on call weekend
• 1:5 Saturday shifts, 7:45 - 12:30pm
• 24/7 support - boss happy to come in after hours if you need me, and always available by phone
• Base salary $80k-100k based on experience and negotiable
• 50% professional fees paid on top of salary for after hours work
• Support of a great nursing team
