Position Overview:

As a full-time veterinarian at our clinic, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of pets in our community. From routine check-ups and vaccinations to complex surgeries and emergency care, you'll have the autonomy to practice veterinary medicine in a way that aligns with your expertise and values. Responsibilities:

-          Conducting thorough examinations and diagnosing medical conditions in small animals

-          Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs

-          Performing surgical procedures with precision and care

-          Providing compassionate end-of-life care and support to pet owners

-          Educating clients on preventive care and promoting the health and wellness of their pets

-          Collaborating with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for patients

Requirements:

-          Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent

-          Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Queensland

-          Strong surgical and medical skills, with a commitment to excellence in patient care

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

-          Compassion, empathy, and a genuine love for animals

-          Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make sound clinical judgments

-          Appreciation for the autonomy and independence that comes with working in a private practice setting
